Use exactly two anchors: a slow exploration of Diagon Alley and one show that the app confirms for your date. Group everything else by area and review operations and showtimes on entry and at midday. Neither anchor guarantees availability. If a queue, closure, storm or exhausted return option breaks the order, remain in the area and switch to a nearby operating experience.
Two anchors that do not force a park crossing
I would give Diagon Alley unhurried time and choose one confirmed show as the second anchor. Intermediate rides enter only when they are in the same area and the app shows compatible operations.
The mistake is chasing every wait change. A number may change while you walk; use an agreed threshold and protect the showtime.
